THE ULTIMATE GARDEN SHOW - RHS CHELSEA FLOWER SHOW 2009

The catwalk of the gardening world, the inimitable RHS Chelsea Flower Show did not disappoint in terms of revealing some of the hottest trends likely to hit UK gardens in the months to come.

Clearly the jewel in the crown when compared to other events in the official garden show “season”, this year’s show represented a celebration of ingenuity and inspirational style, proving a welcome distraction from the current doom and gloom associated with the much debated credit crunch.

The 13 show gardens, 14 urban gardens and 10 courtyard gardens provided visitors with an out of this world journey of horticultural discovery and an opportunity to witness the unsurpassed creative flair of the ultimate crème de la crème of the world of garden design.

The photographs below are a selection of shots taken at this year’s show - including of course details of the amazing award winning (RHS Silver Gilt medal) “Living Street” show garden designed by our very own Garden Design Director, Ian Dexter.
